Deputy Awarded Life-Saving Award

Deputy Aaron Long was awarded the Life-Saving Award for his heroic efforts on February 26, 2025 that directly contributed to saving an infant's life. Deputy Aaron Long responded to a vehicle stopped on the interstate with a three-month-old infant who was not breathing. When he arrived, the infant was unresponsive, with blue lips and rolling eyes. Deputy Long initiated life-saving chest compressions and after several cycles, the infant took a deep breath and began to cry. Through his quick thinking, leadership, and unwavering commitment to preserving life, Deputy Aaron Long's heroic efforts directly contributed to saving the infant's life. His selfless service exemplifies the highest standards of duty and dedication, making him most deserving of this Life-Saving Award.
