Command Structure
The DeKalb County Sheriff's Office is led by Sheriff Brady Thomas, who is elected by the citizens of DeKalb County to serve a four-year term. The Sheriff is supported by Chief Deputy Ben Rice and a team of experienced commanders who oversee daily operations.
Each division is led by supervisors and commanders who ensure that deputies have the training, resources, and support needed to serve the community effectively. Regular coordination between divisions ensures a comprehensive approach to public safety.
