The DeKalb County Sheriff's Office utilizes VINE, an automated victim notification system. The VINE system provides an added level of protection to the citizens of DeKalb County through a solution that keeps victims informed about the status of offenders 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
VINE is the nation's leading victim notification system, empowering survivors of crime with the updated custody status information they need to remain safe and maintain peace of mind.
How VINE Works
Free Registration
VINE is a free service that allows crime victims to obtain timely and reliable information about criminal cases and the custody status of offenders.

Automatic Notifications
Once registered, you will receive automatic notifications about important custody status changes:
- Release from custody
- Transfer to another facility
- Escape from custody
24/7 Access
You can check on an offender's custody status anytime, day or night, through the VINE phone system or website. Updates are provided in real-time as custody status changes occur.
